All three of the Audi Q5's trim levels carry a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine and come standard with Quattro all-wheel drive. These models produce 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.

The 2025 SQ5 has the same powertrain for all trim levels: a 362-horsepower, turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with standard Quattro all-wheel drive. Additional mechanical features include adaptive dampers, a sport-tuned suspension, a sport rear differential, and a sport adaptive air suspension.

Appearance

Across the exterior, the Q5 and SQ5 are identical in many ways. For example, they share the same tall, hexagon-like grille shape and rigorously contoured sides. However, the SQ5 has larger air inlet ports on the front, and the grille pattern on the SQ5 looks more aggressive. These luxury SUVs also feature different wheel designs from one another, with the SQ5 featuring alloy wheels that have a sleeker, sportier appearance. While the Q5 has two rectangular exhaust outlets, the SQ5 comes with 4 round exhaust outlets.
